Connection Procedure:

Step 1: Connect the positive terminal of the solar panel (Pin 51) to one end of the resistor 220Ω (R2, Pin 3).

Step 2: Connect the other end of resistor 220Ω (R2, Pin 4) to the Anode of the LED (Pin 43).

Step 3: Connect the Cathode of the LED (Pin 44) to the negative terminal (Pin 52) of the solar panel.

Step 4: As sunlight (or any source of light) falls on the solar panel, it generates electrical energy, causing the LED to glow.

Explanation:

In this project, we aim to demonstrate how solar energy can be harnessed to illuminate an LED. By connecting a solar panel to an LED in series, we can witness the conversion of light energy into electrical energy. The solar panel, comprising photovoltaic cells, directly converts sunlight into electrical voltage through the photovoltaic effect. As sunlight falls on the solar panel, it generates electrical energy, causing the LED to glow. This project showcases the practical application of solar energy in powering everyday devices.
