Play Buzzer with Button

Project Aim:

The objective of this project is to learn about circuit design and basic electronic components by creating a simple buzzer circuit controlled by a button.

Components Used:

1.      Power Supply (or Battery) 9V

2.      Resistor 1000Ω (1K)

3.     Push Button

4.     Buzzer

5.     Connecting Wires

Circuit Diagram:

Connection Procedure:

Step 1: Connect the Positive terminal of the Power Supply (Pin 62) to one pin of the Push Button (Pin 57).

Step 2: Connect the other pin of the Push Button (Pin 58) to one pin of the 1K ohm Resistor (R3, Pin 5).

Step 3: Connect the other pin of the 1K ohm Resistor (Pin 6) to Positive Terminal of the Buzzer (Pin 53).

Step 4: Connect another Negative terminal of the Buzzer (Pin 54) to the Negative terminal of the Power Supply (Pin 59).

Step 5: Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits.

Step 6: The circuit is complete. Pressing the Button completes the circuit, allowing current to flow through the Resistor and Buzzer, causing the Buzzer to emit a sound.

Explanation:

In this project, a Buzzer is connected in series with a 1K ohm resistor to a Power supply (Battery) and a Button, as shown in the diagram. The resistor plays a crucial role by limiting the amount of current flowing through the buzzer, ensuring it operates within safe parameters, and preventing it from getting damaged. When the circuit is complete by pressing the Button, current flows through the Buzzer, causing it to emit a BEEP sound. This project helps understand the principles of circuitry, component connections, and basic electronic concepts.
